Be clear from the first line

A second marriage biodata follows the same marriage biodata format as any other. The one difference is a Marital Status line, placed in the personal section right after your name and date of birth. Stating it plainly up front is respectful to the other family and saves everyone time; it also brings responses from families who are genuinely open to it.

Mentioning children

If you have children, add a Children line under marital status:

It is fine to add a short line in expectations such as "Looking for a partner who will accept my son as his own". Don't include children's photos or school details on the biodata.

Share the PDF directly with bureaus and families you trust rather than in open groups, and keep the contact number of a parent or sibling on it if you prefer. Some people send a version without photo in the first round and share the photo once there is mutual interest.
